Jade looked at the floor. "Yuan, with all the shit I have done, I'm already cursed." Getting up, she stood infront of him. "I've been in jail for beating a kid half to death with a baseball bat. And I use to shoplift." Jade looked up at him. "Being a vampire is all I wanted. It would give me an escape, so I could be myself, instead of being someone I'm not."

Jade looked into his eyes, and nodded. Careful not to break eye contact, she said, "Math class sucks, but I will go."

Jade laughed. "Then let's go see if we can pass the math test today." Taking his hand, she smiled.

As they got to class Yuan stopped to talk with the teacher. There were no spare desks so he was told to just stand by Jade.

Jade didn't like this class, but she stayed for the lesson. Having Yuan standing beside her was a little distracting, but she managed. After the teacher handed out a worksheet, she set to work. Seeing a math problem she knew she wasn't going to be able to do, she growled.

Jade listened, and did what he told her to do. Once finished the sheet, she looked up at Yuan, and smiled.

Jade handed in her work, and sat back down at her desk. She waited patiently for class to be over.
