Jade

[Erika]

Jade looked up at Yuan. "It's a game thats played with an orange ball that bounces, called a basketball. You earn points by getting it into the other teams basket on the other side of the court." She said gesturing towards the basketball court in the gym.

[Vilkas]

Yuan bit his bottom lip nervously. He knew he was likely to do a... uh... human... thingy when he offered to help, but he knew nothing about this.

[Erika]

Jade was suddenly passed the ball. She caught it, and looked at the person who threw it. Smirking she threw it back, harder, and positioned herself on the opposite team. She knew she was going to end up injured, again.

[Vilkas]

Yuan was on the bench for the time being. The teacher said he could join in if a student needed to leave the game.

((If Jade is injured then Yuan will play her position. It will be cute and funny))

[Erika]

Jade was passed the ball, she caught it, ran and jumped to dunk it in the net. Someone tackled her, and she crashed to the floor. Without warning the person punched her in the face. "FUCK!" She yelled. And kicked him between the legs. He went down, and she got ontop of him, and started to punch him in the face. It soon became a full blown fight on the basketball court. Jade getting the bad end of the stick.

[Vilkas]

The teacher broke up the fight and sent both the boy and Jade to the bench, sending in a new boy and Yuan.

At the beginning Yuan was mostly ignored until someone suddenly passed to him and hit him in the face, giving him a small nose bleed that no one really cared about. He caught the ball, looked at the players that started to surround him and bounced the ball, the same way he had seen the students do it, towards the opposing team's net and dunked the ball into the net. Sadly, he fell on his back after scoring. Jade's team helped him up, congratulated him, patted his back and they started to play again.

Now everyone was passing to Yuan, still catching the ball with his face. No one could stop him once he had the ball, and everyone on Jade's team was thanking Jade for bringing Yuan. The other team tried to slow Yuan down by mocking the fact that he was always hit in the face and landing on his back, but Yuan didn't care. All he cared about was making Jade happy, and hopefully doing so by making her team like her.

[Erika]

Jade smiled, and laughed as Yuan played. A sound no one in her school had heard before. Her nose was slightly bleeding, and her eye was starting to swell and turn black. She watched Yuan play, and accepted the gracious thanks from her team mates.

[Vilkas]

When the game ended Yuan went straight to Jade, smiling like a little kid. There was a line of blood from his nose to this lips, he was covered in sweat, his back ached so he was slightly hunched over, and he was out of breath, but he still smiled and asked "this is how you basketball?"

[Erika]

Jade laughed. "Yes, thats how you play." Getting up, she wiped the blood from his face. "You were very good." She said, smiling. Her left eye was black, and swollen shut, but she she still looked at him with happiness in her good eye.

[Vilkas]

Yuan gently brushed a hand over Jade's swollen eye and said "I'm sorry I can't heal this. I can only heal open wounds"

[Erika]

Jade smiled. "Don't worry about it. It will heal on its own." Smiling she hugged him. "Please don't worry?" She asked.

[Vilkas]

"As you wish Master"

[Erika]

Jade smiled, and released him. Seeing the kid who had tackled at her giving them a dirty look, she turned around and slapped him across the face. "Thats for hitting a girl." She said, with anger.

[Vilkas]

Seeing the teacher heading towards them Yuan grabbed Jade by the wrist and ran. Class was almost over anyway. He took Jade to the girls change room and said "he cannot chase you here"

[Erika]

Jade followed Yuan, and was thankful he took her to the girls changeroom. "Thanks." She said. "Him chasing me would be bad." She stated. "He can run faster than I can."

[Vilkas]

Soon the other girls came in. They obviously wondered why Yuan was there, but all were infatuated with him. Some asked about his skill, others asked where he was from, all were trying to get a chance to place a hand on him. One girl was hugging his arm as she asked her questions.

[Erika]

Being shoved aside by the other girls, Jade became angry. Seeing one girl hugging Yuan's arm, she became furious. Grabbing the girl by the neck, she hissed, "Touch him again, and I will break your neck." Shoving the girl into the others, Jade growled. "Leave him alone." She said threateningly. "Or I will kill you."

[Vilkas]

"Jade?" Yuan asked in a concerned tone. The girls departed, glaring at and whispering about Jade.

[Erika]

Jade's eyes blazed. Turning her back on everyone, she punched a locker so hard she left a dent in the metal door. panting, she turned to Yuan, her anger level dropping.

[Vilkas]

"Master, you must calm down"

[Erika]

Jade glared at the girls, but said nothing. Looking up at Yuan, she nodded, and sat down on the bench in the changeroom. Putting her head in her hands, she stayed silent, and still. Her breathing the only sign she was alive.

[Vilkas]

As the others left Yuan asked "what is wrong Master?"

[Erika]

Jade looked up at Yuan. "Nothing. I'm just trying to calm myself." She said. "Thankfully I am not a vampire yet, because then, I might not have been able to stop myself from killing them. Even though I'm not one, I still want to rip their throats out." Sighing, Jade shook her head. "Sometimes I wonder if I am one, and don't know it yet."

[Vilkas]

Yuan shook his head and said "your parents are both mortal, and you obviously haven't been bitten by a Loveless. A naturally born vampire can only come from the mating of two vampires. A vampire and a mortal would result in a stillborn"

[Erika]

Jade chuckled. "I know that. I research vampires, so i know some history about them." Smiling, she shook her head. "It's just a feeling. "I know I'm not one, even though I want to be."

[Vilkas]

"I will never understand mortals and their fascination with us," Yuan said as he turned his head away "this used to be a curse, now everyone wants it"

[Erika]

Jade looked at the floor. "Yuan, with all the shit I have done, I'm already cursed." Getting up, she stood infront of him. "I've been in jail for beating a kid half to death with a baseball bat. And I use to shoplift." Jade looked up at him. "Being a vampire is all I wanted. It would give me an escape, so I could be myself, instead of being someone I'm not."

[Vilkas]

Yuan looked deep into Jade's eyes, then said "your next class will begin shortly.

[Erika]

Jade looked into his eyes, and nodded. Careful not to break eye contact, she said, "Math class sucks, but I will go."

[Vilkas]

Yuan chuckled "I was never good at it either"
