Mutants V.S. Humans - between Erika & evan..relic

[Erika]

This RP has to do with people with special powers called mutants, and normal humans. The year is iirevalant, but it revolves in modern times. There is a special drug that cures mutants, and the humans want to use it against them. The war has started between these two species, a war that will decide the fate of their world, and change history forever.

RULES:
Like in every RP there are rules.
No godmodding, godmodelling, etc.
No killing off other characters.
No human can become a mutant.
No mutant can become a human.
The special drug cannot be altered.

[Erika]

Erika wandered the halls of the HQ, looking for her friends. 'Where are you?' She asked through her mind.

Ben yawned widely as he woke up on the soft bed that was alloted to him from the Mutants, who he thought were evil originally, but turned out to be actually nice, just like any other human, albeit with odd powers. They accepted him into their big family at the HQ, one, when they found out that he had a vendetta against the humans, and he had bonded to the youngest out of all of them, Erika

Getting a shower, and getting dressed in his usual clothes, which had been cleaned during the night, his white t-shirt, tan cargos, and tan battle vest, and of course, wherever he went, he did not leave his weapons behind. He slung on the two rifle holsters onto his back in an X shape, then slid and buckled the G36 and M4A1 in. Then he picked up the two Walther PPK's and slid them into the pistol holsters permanently placed on his belt.

Stretching a few times, he could hear his back crack multiple time, Hoo, boy! Am I ever getting old. He thought sarcastically to himself.

[Erika]

Erika continued looking for everybody. 'WHERE IS EVERYONE?!' She yelled from her mind.

[evan..relic]

Leaving his room, freshly groomed and everything. He was about to head to the food room, when he crashed into someone, who he sent sprawling backwards, looking down, he saw it was Erika, "Whoops, sorry Eri."

[Erika]

Erika fell to the floor on her butt. She looked up at Ben with sadness in her eyes. 'I called, but no one answered me.' She said through her mind.

(she likes talking through her mind instead of talking normally.)

[evan..relic]

Ben picked her up and put her on his shoulder, noticing the look on her face, he said, "You know I'm only human right? I don't have the proper gear to listen when you speak with your mind."

((One of the human's MANY limitations.))

[Erika]

Erika stuck her tongue out, and enveloped her mind with his. 'Now you can hear me.' She said to him through the mind link. 'Just think what you want to say.' She giggled, and put a hand on his head.

[evan..relic]

Ben rolled his eyes, 'Ya, little twit.' He reached up and tickled her sides, right where he knew that she was most ticklish.

[Erika]

Erika laughed, and kicked. She tried to get away from Ben, but knew she was trapped. She laughed harder, enjoying the time she had before the court hearing that day.

Ben sighed as he put Erika down, 'Come on, we're both hungry, I can tell.'

[Erika]

Erika whined, but followed Ben anyways. 'You become my daddy today?' She asked him.

[evan..relic]

'With any luck. Yes.'

About a month ago, he had filed papers with the local mutant court to legally become Erika's father, as she was an orphan. He cared a lot for her, he helped the other Mutants whenever he could, and gave them plenty of inteligence on the human armies, so he really didn't see any reason that they'd deny him.

[Erika]

Erika knew the risks. She wanted a father again, and when Ben had come to HQ she immediately attached herself to him. 'Daddy?' She asked. 'Can I have cocoa pudding for breakfast?'

(she likes chocolate, but she cant say the word yet.I bring in other characters, but they are NPC.)

[evan..relic]

Ben grinned as he picked her back up and put her on his shoulders, 'Sure, why not? It is a special day.'

[Erika]

Erika giggled, and again put a hand on his head. 'Yummy pudding.' She chanted. She saw blue fur across the room, and waved. 'Hi Beast.' She said.

Beast looked up and smiled. "Good morning Erika, Ben." He said normally. "I bet you can't wait for the court hearing today." He lighly punched Ben's arm. "I also bet you can't wait for her to officially call you her father."

Erika smiled. 'Me go to school?' She asked.

Beast looked at her. "Tomorrow you start kindergarten."

Erika frowned. 'Me no wanna go.'

[evan..relic]

Ben shook his head, "No, no I can not wait. Did you put in that good word for me, Beast? I know you have a few friends on the court."

Looking up at Erika, 'Oh, your going tomorrow. I'll stay there with you if you want.'

[Erika]

Erika pouted. She didn't like the thought of leaving HQ.

Beast smiled. "You know me Ben. Of course. I will be happy when Erika is officially yours." He said in a cheerful tone.

Erika's tummy growled, and she hit Ben lightly on the head. 'Food?' She asked.

Beast barked a laugh. "Are you happy Erika?"

Erika smiled, and nodded her head.

[evan..relic]

'Okay, okay. We'll go.'

About to continue walking, he said, "Hey, Beast. Have you eaten? Care to join us?"

Looking up at Erika, 'No more food fights, I just got the mashed potatoes from last night out of my hair.'

[Erika]

Erika smiled her sweetest smile. 'Yes daddy.' She said with a hint of mischief.

Beast laughed. "Sure." He followed them to the food room.

Erika leaped down from Ben's shoulder, and raced for the pudding. She got it and ate all of it.

Beast watched her, and grabbed himself waffles, which he ate just as fast as Erika.

Erika now full, went back to Ben. 'Uppy?' She asked.

(she says uppy when she wants to be held or be on Ben's shoulders.)

Ben grabbed some chocolate pudding for himself, and was half way through it when Erika asked her question, 'Sure. You'll have to climb up though.'

[Erika]

Erika took that as her challenge, and climbed onto his back. She stayed there, and rested her head between his shoulders. Her somewhat strong legs and arms keeping her on.

Beast looked at the clock and swore. "Court hearing in five minutes you two." He warned.

[evan..relic]

Ben had just finished the pudding when Beast gave the warning, he swore as well, "Brilliant. Come on Eri. Thankfully what you're wearing is fine enough."

He stood up with Erika hanging off his back, putting his arms under her legs to support her, he said, "Catch ya on the flip side, Beast."

Then he left, half-walking, half-running for the court room, which thankfully was in the same building. He skidded into the door two minutes later, everyone was already there, the jury, the judge and the gallery.

The judge, a mutant with a third eye in his forehead, leaned back, "Ah, here's the people of the moment."

Ben bowed his head, "Sorry, breakfast took longer than I expected."

"Just take a seat." And so, Ben did, but not before putting Erika in the chair beside him.

[Erika]

Beast looked after them. "Good luck you two." He whispered.

Erika enjoyed being with Ben. Sitting beside him, she started to shake. She hoped they would approve Ben's request to become her father.

[evan..relic]

The three-eyed judge rapped his gavel against the table, "This court is now come to order, today we are judging the case of Benjamin Jakob DaVine applying to become Erika's stepfather."

"Do you have anything to say, Benjamin?" He shook his head, he knew what he wanted, and he knew he was going to get it.

The judge sat back, "We have all heard good things about Benjamin here, his vendetta against the humans, his help with the construction of our township, and his caring for the children, and his supplying us with the intelligence to the AMA's plans. Personally, I cannot see a reason for the papers to be finalized, but that is for the jury to decide." He nodded to the jury who, taking the cue, all stood up and took their leave to the decision room.

Ben sighed as he rested his arms on the table, 'So far so good.' He thought to Erika.
