Kyo bolted away from the female, to the other side of Tikk.

Till sighs, "Well...suppose your generation was kind of detached from all of this...you probably barely batted an eyelash when everything hit the fan..." He looked about the restaurant briefly, "There's a basement with a lockable metal door in the basement if you two need a place to stay...other than that, no reason to stick around with an old monster like m-..."

His sentence was cut short as Kyo bolted away from Sam. He blinked a few times, processing the action before spouting a very short, "Wha-?"

Kyo snarled at the female "Keh-dah!" (CEDA)

[Erika]

Sam looked at Kyo, then saw him jump away from her. Getting to her feet, she turned her back on both of them, and cried silently. Suddenly she went to the wall, and started to punch it repeatedly. She was angry at CEDA for what they had done to her friend. To her Kyo.

Till sighed, "Something gives me the impression you're not used to dealing with anger...believe me, I know the feeling, but you don't need to go about punching inanimate objects..."

Jake sighed, he had taken a long route around and was now hiding just around the corner from the restaurant, "You know... I know a lot about CEDA, potentially more. Have you ever seen your boss, girl?"

((I can't remember if he knows her name or not.))

Sam smashed the wall on more time, and stood panting. Turning around, she put her back to the wall and slid down to the floor. "CEDA took everything from me." She said. Looking at Kyo, she frowned. "My parents. My cousin. My brother. And Kyo."

Hearing a voice other than Till's and Kyo's, she jumped. "My boss?" She got to her feet, and drew her knife. "Mr.Starling was an ass." Her voice was hard, and deadly. "It's his fault CEDA even existed."

Kyo went to Jack and said "No go again Jaack!"

Till watched the group interact, obviously outside of the conversation, only having really paid attention to CEDA *after* the Green Flu started to spread. He chose to say nothing, instead listening intently to the conversation and watching his tendril slither and twitch beyond his control, almost like a snake somehow became attached to his arm. Eventually, he got the tendril to 'calm down', the appendage no longer moving of it's own accord.

Crossing his arms, "Mr. Starling was my father... You'll be glad to know though that he's dead, shot through the head by his own son."

Walking out from around the corner, he revealed himself.

[Erika]

Sam gasped. Seeing Jack, she remembered seeing him in the office, watching her with Kyo. "You?" She kept her knife ready, but lowered it slightly. "I thought you died in the explosion."

[Vilkas]

Kyo snarled again at the female

((The knife! The knife!)

"No, the explosion happened shortly after I had shot him through the head with this gun at home." He held up the pistol for everyone to see.

"Kyo. Down boy." Taking out a piece of bread from his pocket, he waved it at him.

Till chuckled, "Well ain't this just a cute little reunion of folks associated with that damned facility...shocker you lot survived AND haven't been infected yet. Count your blessings, young ones, for you don't know *half* of what I went through...what I'm STILL going through..."

Realizing he went off on a rant, he continued, "N-nevermind, nevermind...I'm just tired is all, you kids keep up your conversation, I'll avoid interrupting from now on..."

[Erika]

Sam sighed, and put the knife back in her boot. Leaving her gun where it was by the door, she backed up slightly. "Kyo was mine first." She blurted out to him. "But CEDA took him from me." Relaxing her body, and letting her shoulders slump, she surrendered. "Now I have nothing."

Hearing Jake's statement, she nodded. Seeing the bread, she also took out a piece of bread from her pocket. "Kyo. Honey bread. Remember? It was your favourite." throwing the bread towards Kyo, she stood, trying not to look threatening.

"I already know I'm immune. My dad had me tested."

[Vilkas]

Kyo ignored everyone, went to Tikk and said "Keh-oh... note ducky" (Not lucky)

((Cut. Off. TWICE))

[Erika]

((sorry))

Sam sat on the floor, and listened. She was tired, and didn't feel like fighting. "Luck is not with anyone, right now." She said bluntly.

[The Family God]

Till nods grimly, "All the better, I guess, lest one of us become jealous of another's apparently 'good luck'..." He looked about briefly, "So let's see...we have an infected pouncing thing, a girl who punches walls, a boy who's father owned the company that sent society into the ground, and a man with nothing left...who ALSO happens to be infected, with no hopes of a cure...quite the little troup we have assembled here."

[Vilkas]

Kyo listened for a moment before forcing a cough.

"Listen, I know of a store of injectors that can stave off the Green Flu for some time, 48 to 72 hours at most. They're still experimental though."

"I concur. Luck is only in the eye of the person. I've given that ideal up."

Looking over at Kyo, he thought for a moment, "SHIT! Everyone scatter!"

((He guessed.))

[Erika]

Sam froze, and looked at Kyo, jumping to her feet, she dove for her gun. Grabbing it, she strapped it to her thigh pulled the gun out, she stood ready. "Smoker." She stated. "The ones with the very long tongues."

Listening to Jake, she looked around. "Too late." She looked up at the smoker on the roof of the gas part of the building. "It's already seen us." She took aim and fired, missing it. "Damn." She backed farther into the building.

Till looked about curiously after hearing Jake's comment, not quite sure what was going on. "Erm...why...?" he asked, his left hand on his pistol and his tendril slowly slithering out of his wrist.

Hearing Sam's comment, he slowly got to his feet, walking forward slowly. "You all move on, I need to get a bit closer to that thing...not worth the ammo," he grumbled, stepping through the opened window and taking off on a run towards the smoker once he was out in the open.

[Vilkas]

Kyo growled, but followed Jack. He was no good at long range.

Whipping out his pistol, he took a pot shot at the Smoker. He managed to hit it in the leg, but only managed to knock it back, "Shit. What the hell is with my aim today?"

[Erika]

Sam cursed. "Great. Now what?" She kept her ground, but made sure she was out of range of the smoker. "Jake, I'm sorry for what I said." She told him, knowing she may not have another chance to say it to him at a later time.

Till looked up to the staggering smoker, finally within range. He snarled viscerally, his tendril shooting out from it's 'sheathe' and flying up towards the Coughing One, the sharpened point aimed for it's torso.

"It's fine. Now let's get rid of this damn thing."

"Kyo? Can you get it?" He pointed at Kyo and the Smoker as he tried to take another shot and only managed it's right arm.

Till felt his tendril stab into cold flesh up above him, his guess was that he had punctured the Coughing One's chest. He retracted his tendril, the Coughing One's writing body being pulled down with it. He then walked over, bringing his pistol to bear and firing a single shot through the creature's head essentially at Point Blank. After the act, he breathed a sigh of relief, retracting his tendril and walking back towards the group.

[Erika]

Sam saw what Till had done, and stood blinking. She wasn't able to speak. Looking over at Kyo, and Jake, she realized that Kyo would never be hers again.
