Jake flopped down on a mattress and sighed sadly, memories beginning to flow back into his mind from where he had sealed them away; he thought for good.

Marilyn....

Kyo started sniffing the air, tracing a cross over his chest.

Jake looked over at Kyo and wondered what he was signing, looking over at Till, momentarily snapped out of his reminiscing, "Isn't Sam still upstairs?"

Till looked over to Jake with a raised eyebrow, "Ehm...probably. Weren't you keeping track of her a moment ago?"

"Um... I think she was talking to the new guy up there, I think." He shrugged.

[Erika]

Sam shrugged at Tim. "I don't know." Sitting down on the floor, she rolled her eyes. "The infection has taken a toll on everybody. That includes me, though I believe I am immune." Looking up at him, she frowned. "I wish some people were too."

[Stonewing]

"Well, you're a munie? Lucky you! Gettin' past CEDA scans and such" said Tim, looking at his nails.
"Wish I were immune. I'm what you call a 'carrier'. Means I register as infected, but it doesn't effect me like the zombies. Being a carrier cost me so much..." continued Tim, a tear forming in his left eye.

[Erika]

Sam looked up at him, and frowned. "I know the feeling. Being who I am, cost me everything too." She said, softly. Her voice filled with sadness.

Jake sighed and looked at Kyo, digging a bit of bread from his pocket he threw it to Kyo.

He yawned widely, "You learn to sleep lightly in a zombie apocalypse." He muttered to no one in particular.

Kyo ate the bread happily through unrestrained shivers.

Till chuckled, reaching into his pocket for the AGI he had gotten off Sam earlier. "All the same over here, this damned thing keeps me up all night if I miss an injection..." He inhaled deeply for a moment before practically stabbing the AGI into his infected arm, the liquid leaving the hypo and entering his body. Shuddering for but a moment, he pulled the hypo back out and lobbed it off to the side, the glass object making a few clinking noises as it bounced off the floor.

Kyo crawled over to Tipp and curled up by his feet. It was very, very cold in there.

Till looked over to Kyo with a chuckle, making an attempt not to move his legs anymore, "Cute little thing...much better than those jumping buggers out there, seeing as how this one hasn't checked what my guts look like yet." With a sigh, he leaned back, laying over a makeshift 'bed' that past survivors had left there earlier.

[Vilkas]

"Aunta... Coh-d" Kyo tried to explain.

[Erika]

Sam shook her head. "Well if you're going to stay up here, then I wish you all the best." She told Tim. Getting up, she went downstairs. Hearing Kyo, she nearly stopped in her tracks. Entering the room, she sat on the floor near the door. Staying silent, she just watched.

Till raised an eyebrow, "Aunta? You have an aunt, or so-...ooooh~! You're cold, okay..." Till looked across the room, seeing a makeshift bed that was still unoccupied. Extending his wrist, the tendril in his right arm shot out, latching onto the blanket and pulling it over. Transferring his hold of the fabric from his tendril to his hand, he moved it over and sprawled it out over Kyo, making sure to keep the head out so the hunter-like male could still breathe properly.

Till then noticed Sam out of the corner of his eye, turning to the female with a chuckle. "Well, you need not just 'sit' there, little lady. Come on over this way and lay down for a spell, there's plenty of 'beds' in here."

[Erika]

Sam looked at Till, and smiled. "I haven't been called that in a long time." Getting up, she sat on on of the free beds, and laid down.

[Vilkas]

Kyo nodded gratefully at Tikk for the blanket and tried to explain again "upers dig in fesh" he made a digging motion "foh day wairm" Kyo snuggled as close as he could to Titt.

Till just blinked confusedly, not quite understanding Kyo's language. He turned to the other male in the room, "Don't suppose you caught any of that?"

[And now we wait for Dan...or at least I will XD]

"He said that the others dig into other's flesh for warmth." Jake sighed as he lay down.

Till blinked a few times, "Oh...odd, but alright...so long as *he* doesn't start doing that to me, I think I'll be fine," he commented, adjusting his position a bit, trying in vain to get comfortable.

"Consider yourself lucky indeed." Jake muttered as he stared at the ceiling waiting for sleep to overtake him.

Kyo was about to sleep, but then he remembered! He sat up and started biting his claws away. Once they were shortened to his liking he snuggled as close as he could and yawned "No hunt Titt"

Till lost all his composure as he started to chuckle, his laugh reverberating in the storage room, "Hah! So that's what the little guy thinks my name is? That's actually kind of funny~." With another sigh, he closed his eyes, sleep starting to overtake him as well.

[Erika]

Sam opened her eyes, and looked at Kyo. Smiling, she sighed, and closed her eyes again. She was tired, and sad.

Jake just simply there listening for any sounds that came of the silence.

Ever since the infection started sleep hadn't come to him very easily, most of the time all he could do was lay there and hope that a zombie didn't get him as he lay there.

He might not of liked his dad much, but the way that that lump of flesh crumpled as he drove a 50-caliber bullet through his skull, and the crunching of bone under it haunted him to no end. Then as he left the home that he had grown up in, he saw his friends were infected and coming for him... He sniffed slightly as a tear wound it's way down his cheek. He fought with those memories as they threatened to throw him down into a crying fit, the third since D-day...
