Kyo snapped his teeth at the new fleshie.

((Means stay back. He doesn't trust Tim)

"Woah there buddy, I really don't mean trouble. All I have is a bowie knife, and no place to stay. I was lookig for shelter, and I heard a noise from in here. Thats it." Said Tim, holding his belt, near the sheath to his knife.

[Vilkas]

"Rick oh-ff Keh-da!" (Reek of CEDA) Kyo hissed.

Putting a hand on Kyo's head, "Give us a reason to trust you." Surviving in this broken world had left him paranoid. Plus, he like making people sweat.

Till's patience starts to wear thin, none of the folks he had just recently met had decided to follow him, and he could hear a fair amount of chatter up above him, presumably in the main room. He sighed, turning to the locked metal door to the storage room. His tendril began to slide out of his arm once more, slithering onto the floor and squeezing itself through the crack beneath the door. Angling the tendril as he had done a few times beforehand, he grabbed the doorknob from within, unlocking the door with a quick flick and opening the metal obstruction. He sighed, pulling his tendril back into his arm and turning about. "At least the door's open when they head back down..." he muttered to himself.

Till headed back up the ladder, a bit noisily at that. As he gets back up onto the main floor, he looks out to the group, noticing one extra person he hadn't seen earlier. He instinctively hid his infected arm, putting one hand on his pistol and looking to the newcomer. "Well...hope your introduction is better than mine was, stranger...anyone care to introduce ME to this guy, or should I be grabbing my pistol?" he called to the group neutrally.

"Well then, this is a surprise. How many more do ya got stashed down there? Nevermind. My names Tim, but you can call me flash. Its what everyone used to call me..." stated tim as he trailed off. "Well, Im not wanting to be trouble, so I can leave in the morning. In case you dont see it, but its coming down pretty hard" said tim, moving his hand from his belt.

"So, what do you say? May I stay the night?" Tim asked the group.

[Erika]

Sam kept her pistol raised, as Jake and Till talked to the newcomer. Not speaking, she stayed ready, especially if Kyo decided to attack.

Looking outside, Jake nodded now noticing that it was raining, "Fine. Just the night, then we'll decide what to do."

[Vilkas]

Kyo looked up at Jack, very confused. The fleshie had a claw (the knife) out at Jack!

Not putting the gun away, he looked down at Kyo and gave a wry smile as if to say to be careful about him.

"Well, thats mighty nice of you. Most people would just shoot me and get on with their day" said Tim, putting his bowie knife back into its sheath.

"I guess I could just lay down on the table for the night, won't be too much trouble to ya" muttered Tim, laying out the tattered sheet that was left on the table

Kyo turned back to the fleshie, snorted, and turned his back.

"That'll be fine. We'll be down below." Jake turned to the ladder then quietly he muttered under his breath, "Don't expect us to come running."

With that, he turned and descended down the ladder.

[Stonewing]

"I wouldn't expect ya to" muttered Tim, just lout enough that someone might catch it if they tried hard enough. Tim layed down on the tattered cloth on the table, trying to force himself to sleep.

The thoughts of his sister came to him as he closed his eyes, and he knew that sleep would yet again evade him this night.

Kyo followed Jack closely. Happy that they were leaving the fleshie behind.

Till watched the group disperse with a raised eyebrow. Opening his mouth to speak, he realised that saying just about anything would be pointless at this stage, choosing instead to turn around and follow Jake down into the basement.

He waited patiently for Jake to finish climbing down the ladder, eventually stepping down onto the red frame and making his way into the basement. "Last I heard, this used to be a common 'safe spot' for other survivors, making their way through. Thankfully, they all seem to have moved on, yet they left a few matresses down here. I think there's...three, or so," he spoke, mostly to Jake but loud enough for the others to hear him. Stepping off the ladder and walking into the food storage room, he continued, "Just step on in, I've already unlocked that annoying door here."

Sam put her gun away and sighed. Seeing the others leave, she shook her head. Sam went over to the newcomer, and stood behind him. "Sorry about that." She said. "My name is Sam."

[Stonewing]

"Nice to meet ya, sam. Personally, I don't blame them for the mistrust. There was a lot of crap going on during the first few days after first infection" said Tim, rising from his makeshift bedding.

"Well, if you want to talk for a bit, I'm all ears. Not like I'll be sleeping tonight anyway..." Tim said, trailing off as he finished.

Jake sighed, "I didn't think there were any other sur... How'd you hear about that?" He questioned Till.

Till chuckled, stepping inside the food storage room. "By 'heard', I mean 'read', actually. Just take a look at the walls~," he replied, pointing non-specifically to the walls of the room.

On the walls were plastered several different chains of graffiti, some mentioning an enigma by the name of Chicago Ted, others trying to communicate with loved ones, and various others saying that the safe zone in New Orleans was a lie. "I doubt any infected would've written all this, really," Till muttered just loud enough for Jake.

Kyo looked at the wall. There was one word that intrigued him, but somehow made him sad as well

"waat... lohf?"
(What...love?)

Jake looked down at Kyo and sighed, "Love is something..." Looking away, he said, "Never mind..."

[The Family God]

Till chuckles softly, sitting down atop one of the blankets on the floor. "Love is for those who want to feel their emotions soar, only for them to plummet back to earth. Nothing more, nothing less," he comments, as if in response to Jake.

[Vilkas]

Kyo turned to Tikk and asked "Lohf gif wiggs?" (Love gives wings?) He pointed at a winged fleshie with a small hool-a-hoop over its head.

Till caught himself before he could say anything depressing, until he thought of something softer to say. "Yes, Kyo...'love' can give you wings..."

Jake flopped down on a mattress and sighed sadly, memories beginning to flow back into his mind from where he had sealed them away; he thought for good.

Marilyn....

Kyo started sniffing the air, tracing a cross over his chest.

Jake looked over at Kyo and wondered what he was signing, looking over at Till, momentarily snapped out of his reminiscing, "Isn't Sam still upstairs?"

Till looked over to Jake with a raised eyebrow, "Ehm...probably. Weren't you keeping track of her a moment ago?"

"Um... I think she was talking to the new guy up there, I think." He shrugged.
