Ben groaned as he finished.

Gently picking Erika up, 'It worked, Eri. It worked.'

He walked over to her crib and set her down, 'We'll eat after you wake, I'll keep the rice warm.'

[Erika]

Erika stuck her thumb in her mouth as she felt the bed under her. 'Ok, daddy.' She said, in her once again child voice. She fell asleep, holding kitty.

Ben sighed as he sat down on his bed, drained, removing the energy had taken quite a bit from him.

Quickly, he used his telekinesis abilities to move the two bowls of rice into the microwave for later. He laid down.

What a day...

[Erika]

Erika awoke, and yawned. It was evening, and her belly growled for food. Putting kitty down, and rubbing the sleep from her eyes, she crawled out of her crib, and went to Ben. 'Daddy?' She asked. She noticed he was asleep, so she crawled up onto the bed, and laid down on his chest.

Ben woke easily, 'Hungry, Eri?'

[Erika]

Erika giggled. Her body that once more of a child. She was dressed in her child puppy pjs. 'Feed me daddy.' She giggled again.

Picking her up, he carried her to the table and put her in her seat. Then he went to the kitchen and fetched the rice which was still in the microwave, he brought the bowls back to the table and set one down in front of Erika, 'Eat up.'

Ben was about to dig into his when he heard a knock on the door. Sighing, he got up and went to go answer it.

[Erika]

Erika took the bowl and stuck her face in it. She ate like a starved animal. She heard the knock on the door, but ignored. She continued to eat. Once finished she withdrew her face, that had rice all over it.

Ben opened the door, there stood Mirriam in the same clothes from the school earlier.

"Oh, hey, Mirriam."

"Ben, how is Erika?"

"She's," He looked over at Erika, who had rice all over her face, he laughed, "fine."

"Oh, i seem to have interrupted dinner. Should I-"

"No, no. Actually, i made a surplus earlier. I quickly warm up some rice if you want."

"If don't mind, please." Mirriam said as she stepped in and sat down in a third chair at the table, "So how's Erika today?"

Ben went into the kitchen and quickly zapped up some of the leftover rice, put it into a bowl, walked out and gave the bowl to Mirriam.

"Thank you, Ben." She said as she picked up a spoon.

"My pleasure." Ben said as he dug into his meal.

[Erika]

Erika looked at Mirriam. She licked her lips, getting more rice inside her mouth. 'Me all messy.' She said, smiling.

Mirriam laughed, a clear sound that made Ben's head swim, "Yes, you are messy, Erika."

Ben snorted into his rice.

[Erika]

Erika smiled wider, and hopped off her chair. She found the still wet towel and cleaned her face off. Once finished, she threw it onto the counter, and went to Ben. Grabbing her unused fork, she took some and ate it, signalling that she was still hungry.

Ben shook his head, 'Fine, have my rice." He gave Erika the bowl.

Mirriam shook her head, "She's definitely a handful."

"Yeah, but I love her like she was my real daughter." Ben looked Mirriam up and down, she was hot as hell, and she was great with kids, with a great personality.

"I bet." Mirriam ruffled Erika's hair.

[Erika]

Erika smiled, and stuck her face in the bowl, and ate. Once done, she lifted her head, and put the bowl on the table. Once again, her face was covered in rice. She licked her lips to get the rice around her mouth, and burped slightly.

Ben covered his face with his hand while Mirriam laughed.

"Erika! Where are your manners?"

[Erika]

Erika went and cleaned herself up. Returning she cocked her head at Ben. 'What are manners?' She asked.

Mirriam looked at Ben, "Don't worry, she'll learn manners quickly in my kindergarten. Oh, I've gotten that kid Ben put on the flagpole transferred to another school on the west side."

Ben chuckled, "That was fun."

[Erika]

Erika rolled her eyes, and went back to her chair. She watched Mirriam and Ben, and smiled. 'She my new mommy?' She asked Ben, in a slightly mischevious, and confused voice.

'Erika!' Ben's face ran red, he glared at Erika to keep her quiet.

Mirriam watched the silent scolding, she wondered what they were talking about.

[Erika]

Erika smiled, and giggled. She then projected her thoughts to Mirriam as well. 'New mommy?' She asked again in the same mishevious and confused voice.

Ben reached out and intercepted Erika before Mirriam could hear the thought, 'Erika. No. Enough. That is a topic for another time.' He scolded her.

Mirriam got up, "I have to get home, have to work on tomorrow's plan for school. Thanks for dinner, Ben."

Ben got up, "You sure you don't want me to walk you home?"

She laughed, "I'll be fine." She clenched her hand, light bent around her hand to form a light yellow sword, "But thanks for caring." She left, closing the door behind her.

Ben turned on his heel, 'Erika....'

[Erika]

Erika's smile left her face. She watched Mirriam leave, and sighed. Hearing the anger in Ben's voice, she ran from the table, and hid under Ben's large bed.

Walking over to the bed, he concentrated, making the bed float into the air, he walked to where Erika lay, picked her up, walked out and let the bed down.

He sat on the bed with Erika in his arms, he glared at her for a moment, then tickled her.

[Erika]

Erika cowered as he picked her up. She giggled, and squirmed trying to get free from his arms, and tickle attack.

Ben continued to tickle Erika, 'You are not getting away from me, Eri."

[Erika]

Erika continued to laugh, until she started to cough, and gasp for air.

Ben stopped tickling, and brought Erika up into a gentle hug, 'I love you Erika.'

[Erika]

Erika hugged Ben back. 'I love you too daddy.' She said. She yawned, and snuggled closer to Ben.

Ben laid down with Erika on his chest, 'You want sleep here for the night?'

[Erika]

Erika yawned again, and snuggled closer into his chest. She quickly fell asleep.
