Hermia ran after Jason, calling his name.

Keeran simple whispered again "I'm so sorry"

Chiron smiled sadly, "Sword class is cancelled for today, Keeran come with me, I'll give you the customary tour."

Jason sank down against one of the ancient oaks, sword back in sheath.

Hermia didn't take long to catch up to Jason. She tapped his head and said "you ok?"

Jason ground his teeth but didn't say anything.

Hermia sat on the ground in front of Jason and said very gently "talk to me"

Breathing out slowly, "I can't help but think that these monsters target newcomers because whoever is sending them knows it'll get to me. I know that sounds irrational, but..."

[Vilkas]

Hermia sighed and replied "the son of Hades seems fine. And we don't know for sure that his guide didn't escape. For now we do what we can, right?"

Shrugging, "I suppose."

[Vilkas]

"Let's go get his name!" Hermia suggested cheerfully "I but being the son of Hades is lonely"

"Fine." He held out his hand to her, "You seem to drag me into a lot of crap, I'll bite this time...like every other time." He grinned.

[Vilkas]

"Hey, who usually kicks Jackass for you?" Hermia giggled as she accepted Jason's hand.

Keeran was shown to his cabin and slowly settled in. He looked out a window and sighed, very strongly wishing that the morning had just been a fever induced dream, and that he could wake up back in the hospital.

((Oh, I forgot to mention: K wears a face mask over his mouth. He's sorta germaphobic, only in the sense that he'll make others sick))

Jason laughed, "I wonder what would happen if we team up on him? Come on, I think he's in the Hermes cabin. No cabin for Hades."

[Vilkas]

Hermia squealed with excitement and half dragged Jason to the Hermes Cabin. When they got to the new kids room Hermia knocked twice then went right in. She hugged the new camper tightly and said "himyname'sHermiaandwelcometocampwhat'syourname?Ohletmeguess:HarryHenryHaroldHewbertHewie"

Poor Keeran, eyes wide as saucers, said "please... stop touching me..."

Chuckling, "I must apologize for Hermia, she's a literal Hermes, and is quite hyper." He half-pulled her off of Keeran.

"I can't remember if I introduced myself earlier, I'm Jason. I won't try to get you to shake my hand, I do remember your reaction."

[Vilkas]

Keeran shivered before replying "My name is Keeran, but please, just call me K"

"Kay, K." Jason chuckled.

[Vilkas]

Hermia giggled and said "I'll call you K if you call me H." K raised a brow and asked "H?"

K looked at Jason and mouthed 'how does she go on like this?' Hermia hugged K and said "I do it very easily"

Mouthing back, "You get used to it pretty quickly."

[Vilkas]

K slipped out of Hermia's arms and said "I would prefer it if we avoided touching. Last person that touched me was..."

"Was?" Hermia encouraged

"Was thrown off the roof of a children's hospital"

Jason recoiled a bit and reflexively pulled Hermia back a bit from Keeran, "K... Don't worry about it, those were mortals, they get screwed over real easy. We're all demigods here...aside from Mr. D, he is a god."

[Vilkas]

"You guys get gifts, and what do I get? A curse"

Jason chuckled, "You think it's easy being a son of Poseidon? Almost everyone here has a constant eye on me. Did you see what happened with the water out on the training fields? I pity the kid of Zeus though..."

[Vilkas]

"At least you can touch the ones you love!" K snapped "every time my mother so much as bumped into me we had to go to a hospital to make sure she didn't catch some ancient disease"

Hermia patted K's shoulder, but he shrugged her off. She smiled lightly and said "I practically squeezed you and I'm still alive. It's hard to not be able to touch others, but maybe you don't have to push them away"

K walked away, mumbling something about getting a map of camp.

Jason pinched the bridge of his nose, "Hermia, I think it would be better if we left him alone for a bit, getting attacked by monsters plucked right out of Grecian history is tough enough. I still remember what happened to me when I arrived. He got lucky, I was in the infirmary for a week." He chuckled then bit back a gasp as a flash of pain shot through the scar on his back, eyes blinking furiously to fight back tears.

[Vilkas]

"Are you hurt?" Hermia asked worriedly, going right to Jason's side.

"I'm fine..." He said through gritted teeth, "Old battle scar is acting up." He chuckled.

Just then the sound of a conch shell sounded in the distance, "Lunch time." He started to walk back to his cabin as the Hermes kids started to head back to their cabin.

((At lunch and dinner, the campers sit at their own tables (sorted by cabin) and offer up the best part of their meal to the gods in the central fire pit. Oh, the goblets can contain any non-alcoholic beverage you want, just say the name.))

At the table Hermia drank her usual iced herbal tea. She kept eying K, who sat across from Jason only because he was told he had to. He drank plain water, but when he pulled his mask down to drink the water one could see small scars that riddled his lips.

Jason eyed the scars as he sipped on the ice cold cola, the carbonation hardly bothering him, he chose not to say anything about them.

He sniffed the air, the sweet smell of the offerings still lingering on the air.

Not able to stand the silence, "K? Something bothering you?" He asked.

[Vilkas]

K shook his head and explained "these scars are very fresh. They are simply bothering me at the moment"

Considering his options for a moment, "If you would like me to, I could heal them for you. If you do, meet me down by the lake. But that's not what I meant, I mean is there something bothering you emotionally?"
