[Erika]

Echo waited at the other side of the room. She took her computer, and hacked into the ships system. "Two minutes before the door opens." She yelled.

Cheif covered her, while she worked. "Hurry up." He ordered.

[Shade]

Shade walked over, blue blood coating some of his armor. He placed his hand on his sister's shoulder as he waited for the door to open.

[Erika]

Echo smiled under her helmet at her brothers touch. "Almost done." She announced. Suddenly the door hissed, and began to open. "Got it." She said happily, as she unhooked her portable computer, and replaced it in her pack.

Chief nodded in approval. "Lets go." She said, as he cautiously made his way through the door.

[Shade]

Shade followed the two of them, watching their backs to make sure nothing sneaks its way behind them.

[Erika]

Echo and Chief kept there guns at the ready, they didn't want to go in unprepared.

[Shade]

Shade stayed close, eventually turning around, watching over Echo's back.

[Erika]

Echo watched everything, making sure they were alone.

Chief watched his offspring, and surroundings like a hawk.

[Shade]

Shade walked up to Echo's side and muttered something under his breath, just barely audible to his sister.

[Erika]

Echo turned to Shade, and cocked her head at him. "What is it brother?" She asked, her voice full of concern. "What's wrong?"

[Shade]

Shade looked toward Echo, speaking quietly as to avoid being heard by outside sources. "Nothing's wrong. It's just... I miss home."

[Erika]

Echo put a hand on her brother's shoulder, and spoke so that only he could hear her. "As do I Shade. One day we will go home." She looked at her father, and hoped they would be a family again.

[Shade]

Shade smiled, something he didn't do often. He then turned his head, looking back into the distance.

[Erika]

Chief scanned his surroundings, and checked his weapon. "Move out." He ordered, as he left his offspring on their own to fight.

Echo gave her father five seconds head start and moved forward. "Shade. Be careful." She warned her brother.

[Shade]

"When am I not careful?" Shade asked. He ran towards the first piece of cover he could find and hid behind it, making sure his shotgun was loaded.

[Erika]

Echo looked around, and cautiously made her way through the room. She was unsure if there were other elites or grunts around.

Chief didn't even hesitate in his mission.

[Shade]

Shade watched over Echo, checking the corners, then moved toward her, making sure not to make too much sound as he neared a group of sleeping grunts. In a private COM, he said, "I didn't know the Covenant allowed grunts to sleep on the ships. Did you, Echo?"

[Erika]

Echo chuckled slightly. "no Shade, I didn't." She smiled. "Maybe we should teach them a lesson?" She asked her brother.

Chief looked back, and saw his off spring behind him, slightly hiding. He then saw the grunts sleeping, and smirked. "Too easy." He muttered under his breath.

[Shade]

Shade walked closer to the grunts, silently pulling out his knife, then looked to Echo. "Shall I put a hole in the back of his head? Or do you want to put a bullet in his head?" Shade asked.

[Erika]

Echo thought for a second, and then cocked her head at him. "A knife is much more quieter than a gun." She commented.

[Shade]

"True enough," Shade said, before plunging the knife into the back of the grunts head, killing it instantly.

[Erika]

Echo smiled. "Good job brother." She said, complimenting him. "You managed to do it silently, and the others are still sleeping." Echo was always impressed by her younger brothers skill in killing.

[Shade]

Shade went to the next grunt and drove his knife into its head, then went to the last one and snapped its neck. "There," he said. "That's all of them in this room. Now, let's get going to the next."

[Erika]

Echo nodded, and smiled. "You got it." She said.

Master Chief sighed. "Stop fooling around and come here." He ordered.

Echo looked at her father, and nodded. "Coming."

[Shade]

Shade ran over to his father, his step light and soundless. "Alright, what have we got to deal with?" he asked his father. Shade seemed a little enthusiastic, more so than usual. He even looked around in a jittery manner, as if he wasn't himself.

[Erika]

Echo followed her brother, and looked at him with concern.

Chief looked at Shade, and frowned. "We have the usual." He said curtly.

Echo caught her fathers tone, and knew he wasn't pleased.

[Shade]

Shade looked up at his father and nodded before looking down the long hallway. "Looks as though we could use a sniper here." He reached for his sniper rifle and pulled it off his back, aiming down the sight.

[Erika]

Echo nodded, and kept watch.

Chief sighed, and held his weapon at the ready. He was not happy.

Echo could catch the mood from her father, and decided it would be better to keep quiet.

[Shade]

Shade kept his focus on a single point, straight down the hall. He pointed towards the nearest piece of cover, and signaled for the Chief to head there, then pointed toward the second nearest cover, and signaled for Echo to move to it.

[Erika]

Echo and Chief both moved to where Shade pointed. Chief's gun was drawn and ready. Echo kept look out.

"I don't see anything wrong." Echo said. "Just a normal covenant ship."

Chief sighed. "Don't let appearances fool you. Look at the radar."

Echo did as she was told. "Ambush?" She asked, "Shade, what do you think?"
