Pon looked at Lucis and poked her hand, writting 'HI' with his blood.

Lucis felt a thick liquid touching her hand when Pon poked her, looking down instinctively. In her thermal vision, she could see a the word 'Hi' written on her palm for all of a few seconds before whatever it was had taken on her body temperature, the word fading into her palm out of her view. Lucis blinked, looking to Pon in silence, utterly confused as to why he would do that, let alone what liquid that was.

"Blood lasts longer than words... Pon forgets words, but blood never forgets"

Lucis looked to her hand, where the word had once been. "That...was blood?" she asked, nervousness seeping back into her voice. She shuddered, letting her hand fall back to her side, all the while turning back to face Pon. "Well...no point standing here and freezing, right?" she forced a chuckle.

Lucis blinked, looking to the fire magic with a look of recognition. Looking to the fire, however, she did notice the fire was more than a bit unstable. Backing away from the flame, she looked to Pon, "Err...actually, not really. That fire's more than a little hungry right now, so perhaps we should move on before it tries lighting up my clothes..."

Pon tilted his head and asked as the fire dissipated "you don't like Faust?"

Lucis blinked, "Faust? What?" she asked, looking to where the fire was a moment or two ago.

"I named the Cracked Magic

"My name is Edwin." He said as he walked with Faust towards the castle.

"Oh, uhm..." Lucis muttered, "That's...nice, I suppose..." she commented.

[Vilkas]

Faust 'smiled' and said "always liked Queen Mara. She be good to me. If only she be kinder to Fae. So many children go unpunished for tormenting Fae." The castle itself was quite extravagant, with so many halls and doors that one could easily mistaken it for a well kept maze.

Pon looked up and asked "God came from the mountain?"

Lucis nodded once, "Y-yeah, from the Land of Steel. I was working on, uh, the new strip to the mine when I broke the surface by mistake."

[Vilkas]

"God is clumsy" Pon replied bluntly as he began to walk away.

Edwin nodded, "Queen Mara is the best queen that Marak has seen in years."

Fortunately, Edwin knew his way around the castle. In almost no time, Edwin had supplies packed away in a bag under his cloak, told his mother what was happening and was outside of the castle with Faust quickly, "Well, that was simple."

Lucis followed Pon at a bit of a distance, already looking about warily as her vision was subject to the environment's 'rules', as the male had put it.

[Wiccan]

Shu had his hood up, and was crouched on the edge of a building. It was a nice building, far nicer than the run down shack that he stayed in, but then again this was the upper towns, the closest to the castle where the rich lived and flourished as the poor in the slums starved.

He eyed his target, a rich looking man with a pouch full of money proudly hanging at his waste. Shu jumped down from the edge of the building and ran up to him, grabbing the pouch in one hand as he smoothly cut the rope with a knife in his other hand. He kept running, even as he heard angry shouts and the sounds of armour clanging together, no doubt city guards. He looked over his shoulder, confirming his thoughts, but felt himself ram into someone.

It was another rich looking man, obviously, with a daemon as a companion, but he didn't have time to utter out an apology (he may be a thief but he had manners) before he heard the guards yelling, "Stop that man!"

He looked up at the two, and then took off, brushing past them.

Edwin put up his hand, stopping the guards, raising his hand, a sphere of water condensed from the air around him, pointing at the man, the water rushed at him, coiling around his midriff. Jerking his hand up, he lifted the thief off of the ground and towards him, "And what do you think you're going to do with that gold?" He said as he jerked the pouch out of Shu's grip with his free hand.

[Wiccan]

Shu felt the air rush out of him as he was suddenly lifted and tugged back. He came face to face with the man that he had bumped into, and he didn't stop himself from growling at him.

"It doesn't matter to you, or him; this is just pocket change to you. Let me go!" He bent his arms back and then pushed them forward, and a strong blast of air came from behind him, crashing into the man and making the water holding him waver enough for him to escape.

His hood fell off as he landed back on the ground, and he wasn't surprised when he heard the guards call him a Fae as if that alone accused him of a crime, and not the act he just comitted. He spun around, his movements fluid but powerful as he sent another blast of air in all directions, knocking people over. He sprung forward and reached for the coin purse again.

Edwin was knocked back by a blast of air, looking at the soldiers, "Stand down." He snarled. The guards immediately backed up, as most of them had seen what he was like when angry.

Standing up, "Fae. I have no quarrel with you or your kind, rather, I want to talk." He glanced sidelong at Faust, something was prickling at his mind, and he had a feeling it was Faust.

Faust tilted his head at the Fae and asked "why Fae be stealin' from the castle? Senri's toy shop no longer be givin' out food and shelter?"

[Wiccan]

Shu scowled at the daemon, "For as long as I've lived here I've only seen Fae being picked on and mistreated, and no one ever stands up for themself! This problem can't be fixed by simple charity," he spat out the word, "we need to make a stand, or at least try and fend for ourselves."

His grip tightened on the pouch of gold in his hands, and he looked over his shoulder at the guards behind him. They were staying back, like the man had told them, but they were lingering, in case they needed to step in. Shu was hunched forward a little, his pose looking a little like an animal that was frightened but ready to lash out, but his eyes were fixed in a glare on the daemon and the man.

It was times like these, when he had to vocalize what was wrong with this city, was when he really missed his family, and the little village that he used to live in where everyone was treated equally.

Edwin nodded, "I agree. The Fae have always been mistreated, something I am ashamed to be called a human for. They need a champion." Looking at Faust, then back to the Fae, "Are you willing to be that champion?"

[Vilkas]

Faust giggled and said "That be good tinkin'! Then humans must be seein' Fae different!"

[Wiccan]

Shu straightened up. "Champion? Of what?"

His ear twitched, and he glanced behind him and saw the man he had taken the money from talking to the guards.

"I don't know what you're talking about, but I won't be champion of anything unless you deal with them for me first." Shu motioned behind him.

[Vilkas]

Faust 'smiled' at the men and said "The Fae be free. Now" At his authoritative tone the men scattered. Faust looked at the Fae and said "we be done?"

Snatching the money from the Fae, he threw it back to the man, then turning back to the Fae as the soldiers left, "Champion of the Fae, I mean. Show that there is something more to the Fae. If you refuse, I'll let you go with double what that man had." He jingled his own coin purse.

Looking over at Faust, "Could he be one of the Heroes?" He whispered.

[Vilkas]

"Anyone can be hero," Faust said "just need to be strong enough to allow second soul to be livin' in the same body"

Turning back to the Fae, "Well are you?"

[Wiccan]

Shu scowled as the coin purse was taken from him, but he didn't make any effort to try and get it back. He listened to the others, and contemplated it. The man had a point, he supposed. He stood there for a while, looking at the ground as he thought it over, and then back up at the others.

"I'm probably stronger than you, old man," Shu said, adding the last bit just to spite him, still bitter about losing the coins. "How about I accept and you buy me whatever I need for whatever we're doing."
