Please don't mind the beast biting you neck, he really is quite friendly. Please enjoy our many sights, like Toluca Lake. Mind the deep water though, you down want to fall. Lakeside Amusement Park is always a good choice if you don't mind the rust and blood. If you get hurt drop by Alchemilla Hospital, good luck getting a doctor. And if you've had enough fun gnawing on that Mask Fiend, drop by Brookhaven Hospital. I assure you, you won't be alone for long.

Kyle leaned against a tree, not far from the Welcome sign. He tried to catch his breath, but the sounds behind forced him to push himself farther. One week. He survived one week. But, there is more to this place than mere survival. Kyle found a suitable tree and began to climb. No monster he has encountered could climb... though the big ones could probably knock the tree down.

Jack grumbled something to himself as he drove down the country road, he really wasn't in the best of moods today, one from lack of sleep, two, these weird dreams he kept getting.

In each of these dreams, he could see the people that he had killed when he was a mafia hitman, and each of them kept telling him, 'Go to Silent Hill.' Which was what he was doing now in hopes that he could reclaim the precious hours of sleep that avoided him so.

Across the seat to his left lay a Beretta ARX 160 rifle, his trademark rifle. Custom made, and upgraded with a few choice components like a detachable silencer. Under his shoulders lay a holstered pair of Beretta 92's, his favourite kind of pistol.

Pulling over to the side of the road, he looked at the map that lay taped over the dashboard. Confirming that he was headed in the right direction, he put the pickup into drive and continued on.

Kyle watched as a vehicle approached and called out

"NO! STOP! TURN BACK!"

Jack swerved suddenly, not expecting to see someone all the way out here in the boonies.

Unfortunately, the swerve was enough to put his truck on it's side, unbuckling himself he grabbed the rifle and opened the passenger side door and climbed out.

When he hit the ground, he turned to face the truck and grunted, "Well, fuck. That blows."

[Vilkas]

Kyle jumped out of the tree, landing on his ass, and said "oh no!" He got to his feet, held his hands in the air and said "I know we just met, but we're in danger! We need to go!"

Jack looked at Kyle, something about this place gave him the creeps. That was a first, something had to be up to even startle Jack, "Why should I trust you?"

[Vilkas]

"Well for starters I didn't shoot you the moment you stepped out of your car," Kyle slowly moved his coat away to show a pistol he had shoved in his pants(no holster) "and secondly, I'm letting you point a gun at me without a peep. Doesn't that seem just a little odd?"

"Yeah, fine." Jack grunted, "So, what's so dangerous about this place?"

[Vilkas]

There was a monstrous roar in the distance. Kyle managed to whisper "Now might not be the best time. We need to get into the closest building"

(I'm holding off going to the church)

Jack jumped, "What the hell?" That was a definite first for him, "Alright fine. I'll trust you."

[Vilkas]

"J-just stick to the road, stay quiet, and follow me. I've managed to survive the big ones" Kyle said, pointing at his torn sleeve. He pulled out his gun and added "watch the gutters too, the skinny guys are just as bad as the big guys"

Jack strapped the rifle across his back so he could move easier and quickly made sure that the pistol in his right hand had enough ammo. He was one bullet shy of a full clip, he nodded and slid the cartridge back into the gun.

"Hold on for a second." Walking back to the truck, he climbed into the cab and pulled out two first aid kits, throwing one to Kyle, he strapped the kit to his left leg with the velcro, "So, formalities first, what's your name?"

[Vilkas]

Kyle replied meekly "call me Anders"

"Winters. Some know me by 'Soulless Winters.'"

Looking around, he breathed in deeply through his nose, "Is there a sewer break around here or something?"

[Vilkas]

Kyle jumped and replied in a hushed tone "It's the small ones! We have to leave, now!"

[evan..relic]

Jack looked at Kyle, "Alright, you lead."

This was strange for him. Strange indeed.

[Vilkas]

Kyle lead the way to Silent Hill. He went straight to the closest house and picked the lock to get in. He held the door open for Winters and said "get in. Hurry!"

Quickly sidestepping Anders, he got into the house.

[Vilkas]

Anders closed the door and dragged a bookcase in front of it.

"So what exactly are we running from, anyways?"

[Vilkas]

Kyle was silent for a moment. He pulled out three photos from his pocket and said "these... monsters. The first, the... clawed ones. They're easy when alone, but they're never alone. The second, the ape-like one. They are usually alone, but one is enough. And the last one, the... human one. He is the worst of all"

Jack's right eyebrow went up as he quickly memorized the appearances of these three, "This place is like a damn horror movie." He muttered.

[Vilkas]

"It's worse" Kyle replied "The last one, he... knows you"

"What?" Jack looked at the picture, he didn't really know what to say.
