Hmm...character concept time, looking for peer review.

Name: Bedlam
Gender: Male
RP: Secondrate Heroes, or tweaked for Dragonborn
Ability: With a snap of his fingers, a random ability (and I mean random, I'll be using a dice-rolling program and using the results, then basing my posts off of the results), the effect varies from "Just-what-I-wanted", to completely useless, to outright detrimental for him and his group. He, nor I, have any outright control of the ability, the only thing is that his effects are to be nerfed to ensure they're not OP or completely destructive to the group, and that he can only summon this ability every 5 minutes.

Example of his power: I intend to roll a d30 in a dice-rolling program on my computer, then base what his power does off my roll.
1-10 = Detrimental, with 1 being something that essentially takes him out of commission, and 2 being serious harm to himself or a nearby friend. Ex. 1 can mean the effect of a live flashbang is summoned into existence right in front of him, painfully blinding and deafening him.
11-20 = Neutral/Useless, with 15 being completely harmless and useless, and - say - 13 being ever so mildly negative (Such as the wind changing direction towards the group)
21-30 = Positive, with 30 being a short conjuration of whatever he wants to obtain (within reason) at the moment of snapping. Ex. If he wants a minigun, he'll get one with a small clip (maybe 30 bullets), which fades away the moment he's done holding it.

Positives:
- The negative and random aspect of the character fits in to my character design very well.
- The negative effects act as a balance to the positive effects.

Negatives:
-The positives may be considered too OP for proper, balanced use.
-The negatives may cause him to be more of a detriment to the group than a useful/potential member.
-He may have to be a villain or periodic anti-hero, due to the negative aspects of his magic/power
-May have to make up an elaborate excuse in Secondrate as to how he was able to survive the virus, considering that the ability to do something like that will PROBABLY give him whatever it is the virus attacks, and should render him comatose if it's considered a 'superpower'.

To be honest, the random abilities seem too unpredictable and might be more of a liability. Though you wouldn't need to worry about the virus because the reason our characters aren't infected is because they weren't targeted. All the lesser known heroes were overlooked or outright forgotten.

Well, the virus part is alright...but yeah, the powers are a bit TOO unpredictable. And since half the time his abilities could affect the group, I doubt I can technically use him.

Oh well, was a nice idea.

Hello everypony!! I'm back from camp for those of whom didn't know. Tomorrow is also my birthday! I know it'll be fun too. I also might be getting an Ipod touch, so I probably won't be using the ps3 for the internet soon. I'll also be able to text people on it thanks to apple's newest update XD. I'll keep my phone to make calls though.

1. Even though Skerkston doesn't have Wi-Fi, I remembered that I can tether my phone to my laptop to get on the internet, so I can still get on if I have to.

Yeah, noticed that a while ago...sucks, but it reminds me of the HL2 hack. It got hacked early on, the early version was released, those who played it thought it sucked.

Actually, he doesn't bother with nicknames for villains, he just drops parts. Joker and Bane are already short enough so he'd leave them. But, say, Mr. Freeze might be called simply Freeze from time to time.
